A Message from its Creator, Lauren Gale
My main goal for this website is for people to find solace, as well as each other, in the face of a breakup or while braving the jungle-like dating world. You are not alone!
We have all been there, and it helps to reach out to others.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Lauren Gale. I am in my early thirties, and living in the big city. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the number of women over the age of 30 living alone has doubled over the last 20 years to 15 million. |
And as of last year, there was a total 46 million single women in the United States!
With millions of singles out there, hearts get broken every day. That's what propelled me to write my 94,000-word book, From Breakup to Breakthrough: Confessions of a Recovering Drama Queen. In the realm of Bridget Jones's Diary meets a reality-based Sex and the City and Why Men Love Bitches, the upcoming book From Breakup to Breakthrough chronicles my journey in the tumultuous dating world.
It is the humorous and candid true story of how I went from a breakup to a condition I named MDD (Men Deficit Disorder) to MOD (Men Overload Disorder) while trying to find the man of my dreams, or at least a real and healthy companion who does not walk on four legs.
As I go through virtually all the options out there, from online dating, to speed-dating, to matchmaking, to even a date on national television on the Greg Behrendt show, I find there's something to be learned from each and every experience.
From Breakup to Breakthrough: Confessions of a Recovering Drama Queen is not only a true story and my roadmap to dating and surviving a heartbreak. More importantly, it's a manifesto on self-love, self-discovery, and self-respect.
My goal is to make From Breakup to Breakthrough available to you sometime in 2008 This website has been designed to introduce you to my book, and it will also provide you with many valuable resources to support you along your own road to love and personal happiness. Take a moment now to explore the site to find the resources and features that you will personally find most helpful.
Live well... Laugh often... Love fair... and Play much!
Love & Light,
