Lauren Gale was born and raised in Israel, and she dreamt about coming to the United States from the time she was a young girl. At age 21, after serving in the Israeli army, Lauren left Israel and traveled the world for a year while working in sales. Always strong in her convictions, at age 22, bright-eyed and full of energy, she finally landed at LAX ready to conquer Hollywood.

A year after arriving in LA and while chasing her dreams of being an actress, Lauren married her roommate. Two years later, she experienced her first major heartbreak as well as breakthrough when that marriage dissolved.

By her early thirties, still single, this former Israeli army sergeant had turned into a dating and heartbreak know-it-all! For on her continued path to love, Lauren experienced and overcame many heartbreaks, obstacles and hardships. In the "City of Angels," she tried to find the man of her dreams just about anywhere. Through online dating, speed-dating, setups by one of LA's premiere matchmakers, and even a date on national television on The Greg Behrendt Show, Lauren tried it all. She has dated actors, producers, lawyers, commitment-phobics, wannabes, millionaires, writers, a male stripper, and many, many more.

Always passionate about women's empowerment, Lauren is now sharing her life's lessons. In addition to writing From Breakup to Breakthrough, she is life-coaching many women in the hopes of helping them achieve their dreams. During the past year, Lauren has also been involved in working with abused and mentally challenged women at homeless shelters where she teaches them self-love, the power of positive thinking, and self-acceptance. In addition, she has begun to give workshops in California based on her Recovering Drama Queen’s Commandments to Loving, Dating, Breaking Up and Living Powerfully and Authentically (Even When Alone, or Dating Mr. Wrong).

Lauren is currently residing in Los Angeles. She is mixing her women's empowerment career with work in sales. A self-declared recovering drama queen, she is now living for the most part a drama-free, peaceful life.
